Loonie365 started with a simple frustration: most Canadian loan sites are blind lead forms. You type in your details and hope the lender on the other end is legitimate — with no way to compare the true cost first.

We’re building the comparison we wished existed: licensed lenders only, provincial fee caps shown in plain dollars, and real alternatives for when a payday loan is the wrong tool.

We’re Canadian, independent, and free for borrowers. Our job is to make borrowing transparent — even when transparency means telling you not to borrow.

How we evaluate lenders

• Must hold a valid provincial lending licence — no exceptions.
• Fees and terms must be disclosed upfront in dollars, not just percentages.
• We show provincial fee caps so you can spot illegal offers.
• We list alternatives we earn nothing from, because sometimes they’re the right answer.
